Lazio star Felipe Anderson has moved one step closer to joiningManchester United as his agent was reportedly in Manchester on Tuesday for talks.
Guardian journalist Ed Aarons tweeted “Felipe Anderson’s agent was in England yesterday to meet officials from Manchester United. No official bid made yet," via the Metro.
There is no doubt that Anderson can bring pace to a United side that is lacking goals this season, but his form as of late has been suffering, without a goal since the double he scored in a 3-0 win over Torino in late October.
According to Transfermarkt Anderson has a market value of £14million, but with his contract not due to run out until June 2020, the Metro have reported that Manchester United will need to pay in the region of £35million to secure his services.
Although this is a large fee for a player who is yet to prove his worth at the age of just 22, Anderson has still many years ahead of himself and will only continue to improve his worth.
